Naval Brakes are designed for U.S. Navy and Coast Guard military specifications, to meet the highest levels of corrosive resistance and performance. 

These units conform to MIL-B-16392C or 46CFR 110.10-1 and IEEE Standard 45. Special material components help prevent corrosion due to shipboard environments. SAB used in marine environments can be custom built to meet your specifications. In addition, all Stearns SAB are “Type Approval Certified” by the American Bureau of Shipping.
